This is one of those movies that should be seen in the theater. The TV screen confines it to much. The outdoor scenes need the big screen to show their expansiveness and the performances of the actors needs the big screen to show the details.
It is classic Spielberg in that he manipulates your emotions shamelessly, but he does it so well you can't help crying on cue.
The updates are subtle and unless you know where they are easy to miss.
